Guests are invited to submit a draft feature (with photos if available) prior to the event for feedback and discussion during the workshops. This is not essential, though. Guests will be given plenty of ideas for development during the course.

Workshop 3 – Market Analysis. Studying the travel markets and identifying travel slots in non-travel publications.
Workshop 4 – Arrivals, Activities and Departures – Structuring your travel feature.
Sunday 17th February 2019
Workshop 5 – Pitching and Press Trips. Secure the commission, then secure the freebies.
Workshop 6 – Factfiles and Photos.
Delegate Submission of Work Prior To Course
To get the most from this weekend course it would help if delegates could submit a feature they’ve written that they’d like to send to a publication. If your feature includes photographs these can be submitted too. Please use the Contact Form to ask how to send this material to me prior to the course. Ideally, submissions should be received by 1st February 2019.
